Abstract (EN)

The socio-economic structure is a measure of the access of individuals who make up the society to the desired resources. There is no clear definition of socioeconomics accepted by all. Socio-economics can be defined as a structure that includes officially organized private enterprises and networks that produce market and non-market goods and services based on democratic and participatory decision-making processes. Socio-economic structure; includes items of interest in many areas such as economy, health, education, demography and social status. While analyzing the socio-economic structure of a region; factors such as health services, money, goods, power, security requirements, employment conditions, educational opportunities are considered in whole or in part. Gaziantep, which is the center of the research, is an important socio-economic center for the Southeastern Anatolia Region where the region is located, even though it is back from other metropolises of the country in terms of population, employment, education and health services and various other social indicators. The purpose of this research is to be analyzed socio-economic structure and the status of the of Gaziantep where has an important place in Turkey, to be investigated the importance for the region and country.
