Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out by using the questionnaire method to determine the relationship between the quality of sleep and physical activity levels associated with the biological rhythms of 200 students who were in the 14-18 age group in Gaziantep. Only voluntary participants were included in the study. General Features Questionnaire, International Physical Activity Index (Short Version), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was used. In addition, the abdominal circumference measurements of the participants were performed with a non-stretched mesure, height and body weight measurement, and a scale measuring 0.1 kilogram and 1 millimeter. Body mass index (BMI) of the participants was calculated by dividing the body weight (kg) by the height (m) of the height. These values are recorded in the General Characteristics Questionnaire. The emphasis was on the relationship between sleep quality and body mass index and the factors affecting sleep quality in adolescents. The effects of sleep and sleep periods on the nutrition and physical activities of adolescents were investigated. In this study conducted in high school students, there are 200 students (126 girls and 74 boys) whose data are evaluated. Therefore, 37% of the students participating in the study is male and 63% is female. In this distribution, there were 37 students (18.5%), normal acceptable students (42.5%), normal 44 students (22%), and mild obese 34 students (17%). There was a significant relationship between BMI and sleep quality and when the population was evaluated in terms of body mass index according to the sleep quality, body mass index was 20 kg/m² in normal group. Poor sleep quality was 20 persons. the person has responded quite badly. The effect of physical activity on sleep quality was 34 adolescents with very good sleep quality and severe physical activity. It was concluded that 58 adolescents with poor sleep quality did not perform severe physical activity. It can be concluded that there may be an inverse correlation between BMI and sleep quality, and there may be a correct ratio between physical activity and sleep quality score.
