Abstract (EN)
The Future Classroom Lab (FCL), is an approach that combines technological innovation with diverse learning environments, encouraging students to gain new perspectives. Accordingly, this study examined the effects of Turkish language course practices conducted in the FCL environment on the academic achievement and attitudes of sixth-grade middle school students towards the Turkish course. The research was designed based on quantitative research methods, and data were collected through an achievement test and the Attitude Scale towards the Turkish Course developed by Acat (2000). The findings of the study revealed that the FCL model positively influenced students' academic achievement levels. Analyses conducted in light of the quantitative data indicated that the achievement levels of the students in the experimental group were not only higher but also demonstrated a more homogeneous distribution. This suggests that the FCL environment not only enhanced student achievement but also reduced achievement disparities among students. Accordingly, a significant difference in favor of FCL was identified (t(23,105) = 6.206, p < .001). The FCL model both increased achievement and rendered the distribution of achievement among students more homogeneous. The overall findings of the research demonstrated that technology-supported, flexible, and student-centered learning environments are effective in fostering both the academic and attitudinal development of students, offering a more holistic learning experience compared to traditional classroom models
