Reflection of mirac narrative on beliefs and worships in traditional alevism

The Incident of Miraj, which has an important place in shaping the faith memory of the Alevi Faith, which has been going on for centuries, and the Cemi of the Forties, which is believed to have taken place during the Miraj, were studied. There are many narratives that reveal different perspectives within the Alevi Faith. Although these narratives are included in Alevi written sources, they have found their place mostly in oral culture. Since most narratives are oral and Alevism has spread over a wide geography, the belief has begun to contain many differences and has survived to the present day. Although the name of the worship is the same due to differences in duration, the way it is performed has changed. These changes were reflected in Cem ceremonies, fasting, semah figures and resources. In addition to these differences in belief, one of the narratives that constitute the essence of Cem Worship and that are agreed upon by Alevis is the Forty Cemi narrative, the Legend of the Forties. According to belief, the first Cem took place in the Council of Forty. Hz. Muhammad and the Prophet. Ali's involvement in the Council of Forty and the belief that they were personally present at the first Cem worship make the legend more important. Each Cem worship is perceived as a repetition of the Kırklar Cem.
