Abstract (EN)

In this study, the researches about İrfan Şahin, who was declared as the Unesco Living Human Treasure and the last masters who became traditional in the history of Turkish wrestling. Depending on this tradition, studies on the applicability of materials, patterns and embroideries in different clothes will be made in fashion design. Research, Traditional Kispet Mastery, which is among the riches of Turkish Culture, covers the development of the prominent objects Kispet and Kispet in the historical process. Traditional Kispet Mastery and Kispet construction, which took their place in Turkish Culture with their own rituals, were examined. The characteristics and the development of the material used in the construction of Kispet and the training of the masters were evaluated in the historical process. In this study, written and digital resources were scanned and field studies were conducted and interviews were conducted with the traditional mastery masters. Wrestling, one of the oldest sports in the history of humanity, has survived to the present day with the aim of defense, sports, play and entertainment. In addition to Aba, Shalvar (Don) and Karakucak wrestling, g greasy wrestling Don has taken its place with its own rules. One of the most important differences between our traditional sport and fat wrestling is the special clothing called önemli Kispet, worn by the wrestlers in the competitions. As a prominent element of oil wrestling, Kispet is one of the material elements of material culture that has been handed down from generation to generation in the master apprentice relationship with traditional teaching methods, which requires special mastery in the material selection and construction stages. Kispet planting is now one of the most forgotten crafts. Kispet mastery is tried to be kept alive by a few masters. In the master-apprentice relationship, the pedigreed with traditional teaching methods is kept alive for generations and generations. In the context of Kispetin's Turkish culture, it is suggested that different clothes and accessories are designed in Fashion Design with the help of its unique materials, ornament and sewing techniques and contribute to the promotion of Turkish Culture.
