Abstract (EN)

The importance of financial literacy is becoming increasingly important for all individuals and communities in society. As in many countries, various studies have recently been conducted in our country to increase financial literacy and promote financial education. In this context, this study aimed to measure the financial literacy levels of Revenue Specialists working in units affiliated with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, who play an active role in tax collection, a crucial pillar of the financial system. For this purpose, a survey was administered to 405 Revenue Specialists working in units affiliated with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The surveys were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. When the demographic data in the study is examined, marital status, age, number of children, income level, and education level create significant differences in financial literacy levels. It was observed that married individuals, those aged 36-40, higher-income groups, and those with a master's degree have higher levels of financial literacy. Furthermore, gender was found to have no significant effect on financial literacy.
