Abstract (EN)
Fossil fuels are widely used in energy production. With the use of these fuels, there are many negative consequences such as environmental pollution, climate changes, oxygen depletion, acid rain, ozone depletion and oil wars. The limited and decreasing fossil fuel reserves also increase costs. Therefore, environmentally friendly inexhaustible energy sources such as wind and sun are needed. In order to benefit from such energy sources, efficient energy investments should be made. Investments made in regions where energy potential is not sufficient and regular cause money and time loss. In this study, a new software is developed which is expected to support the installation of energy systems by calculating the annual and periodic energy potential and revenues that can be produced with wind and photovoltaic solar energy systems. With the developed software; the energy potential produced by an established system based on the available data and the forecasting calculations can be estimated. The cost of system installation can be calculated using the elements selected from the software database created. The program has been developed in such a way that special cost types not found in the system database can be added to the database. With this new software developed, investment calculations of 2 MW wind and photovoltaic solar energy systems were made in Pazaryeri district of Bilecik province. As a result of these calculations, the annual energy amount that can be obtained with the Vestas V80 wind turbine with a capacity of 2 MW has been found as 1.439.581,50 kWh. The annual amount of energy that can be obtained from the 2 MW solar energy system obtained by using 8000 ASW250 photovoltaic panels has been found as 2.560.482,56 kWh. When wind and photovoltaic solar energy systems are used as hybrid with a total capacity of 2 MW, it is calculated that 2,000,032,03 kWh of energy can be produced. According to the software findings; based on the power values discussed in the study, it has been seen that it may be more efficient to use the photovoltaic solar energy system independently for the selected region. In the case that the energy production calculated for wind and photovoltaic solar energy systems are close to each other, the use of these systems together may be more advantageous in terms of continuity and efficiency. For this purpose; the developed software is expected to support the use of wind and photovoltaic solar energy sources together or independently and the selection of an efficient energy model.
