In terms of youth employment promotion policies Turkey Poland comparison

Nowadays one of the most important problems of the world countries is unemployment. The most affected by unemployment is young people aged 15-24 range. Global competition growth, innovations in technological developments affect labor market conditions and employers want to employ experienced young people with adequate knowledge. Especially the educated young population is inadequate in terms of professional equipment and experience since(because) they firstly have met with the labor market conditions after graduation. Apart from this, the expectations of young people's salaries and the opportunities offered by business life do not match. Despite the rapid growth of the young population, the inability to create enough new jobs and the lack of linkage between education and employment make youth unemployment a difficult situation. While the employment policies of the young unemployed are different in the struggle period of the countries, the countries benefit from the most active employment policies. In the study, explanations of unemployment definitions, their types and employment theories are given. The concept of young unemployment and the causes of young unemployment are discussed, the young unemployment situation in the labor market in Turkey and employment policies are implemented during the fight against young unemployment have been mentioned. After that, situation of youth unemployment and the policies of struggle is mentioned in Poland a member of the European Union. Finally relationship between youth unemployment and growth rate in Poland and Turkey are examined through econometric analyses.
