Recreational evaluation by the program managers of youth camps

Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate youth camps from recreational perspective by programme keepers.Youth camps are thought to be an important climax for the life of youths especially living together is helping them to learn different cultures and it give them chance to share different areas. Because of this it is important the evaluation should be done by programme keepers who are carrying out the youth camps. This is especially important for the research of youth camps recreational perspective. Ten volunteer programme keepers compose the participants of the evoluation from other programme keepers who graduated from school of physical education and sports and still working in youth camps bounded to ministry of youth and sports. Researcher has used negotiation method from phenomenological research methods. Five forms are used for collecting information for research, moreover for collecting information about programme keepers researcher has made information forms. Descriptive analysis is used for data analysis. Accarding to the research results for recreational perspective youth camps are important both for social and personal evolution. They are also important in some other ways such as having positive effect on participants personal and social evolution, helping them to have art ability, helping them to bring out their leadership ability and finally youth camps help participants to learn how to use their free time effectively.
