Analysis of the paternalist leadership understanding and organizational justice levels of the personnel working in the provincial organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports

The aim of this study is; Turkey 7 in different regions of the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports in the employee's personnel paternalistic leadership and organizational justice is to examine levels according to different variables. A total of 494 volunteers from the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports participated in the study. The Personal Information Form, which was prepared by the researcher to reach the personal information of the participants by the researcher as a data collection tool,"Paternalist Leadership Scale", was developed by Pellegrini and Scandura in 2006 and adapted into Turkish by the researchers, "Organizational Justice Scale", was developed by Niehoff and Moorman (1993) and by Spector (1994) and was adapted into Turkish by Yelboğa(2009), was used. SPSS 21.0 package program was used in the evaluation of the data. In addition to the percentage, frequency and cross tabulation tests, Kolmogrof-Smirnov normal distribution test was applied to the descriptive statistical methods and Correlation analysis test was applied to determine the relationship between independent sample t-test and one-way variance analysis tests and dependent variables to determine significant differences. As a result, the paternalist leadership and organizational justice levels of the participants did not differ significantly in terms of marital status and whether they were graduates of Sports Education (p> 0.05), in some sub-dimensions of paternalist leadership according to gender and educational status and age, title and duration of work in public. According to the situation, significant differences were found in some sub-dimensions of organizational justice (p <0.05). Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between the correlation between paternalist leadership and organizational justice (p <0.05).Keywords: Paternalist Leadership, Youth and Sports, Organization, Justice
