Abstract (EN)
Resonant converters play an important role in modern power electronics applications by offering high efficiency and low losses. The Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) method used to reduce switching losses in these circuits encounters some difficulties in terms of control and design as energy ranges increase. In the blood of ZVS, widely used Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) methods directly affect system components and components. While PWM provides control with fixed frequency operating pulse width, PFM offers a more flexible structure with variable frequency. In this thesis, the relationship, advantages and limitations of ZVS control with PWM and PFM methods are included. A PWM-PFM hybrid controlled LCC resonant converter is proposed and a model is presented to obtain a wide ZVS power switching range with narrow switching ratio change.
