Özet (EN)

Geopolymer is an excellent alternative which transform industrial waste products like YFC and fly ash into binder for concrete. Geopolymer binders are used together with aggregates to produce Geopolymer concrete. They are ideal for building and repairing infrastructures and for pre-casting units, because they have very high early strength. The successful use of waste glass will aid in reducing the environmental and health problems related to the disposal of waste glass and the scarcity of land area needed for disposal. Due to the contradiction and variations in the available test results corresponding to the utilization of glass powder in geopolymer concrete, the aim of this study is to examine the influence of ground granulated blast-furnace slag (YFC), waste glass (GP), sodium hydroxide (SH), sodium silicate (SS), extra water and coarse aggregate and fine aggregate aggregates which are mixed in various proporations. The results obtained in this study showed that although the compressive strength decreases depending on the GP ratio used, it is determined that strengths of approximately 50 MPa and above can be obtained in mixtures where the SS / SH ratio is 0.67. In addition, it was determined that GP increase rates in the mixtures caused a decrease in the water absorption rate compared to the control mixture. In the study, the fire resistance in GP containing Geopolimerconcrete decreased with increasing temperature and the highest strength was measured as 45.23 MPa at 300 ° C for the mixture of GP and 1.5 SS / SH. The results of ultrasonic sound velocity were obtained that all waste glass concrete mixtures were higher than 3.2 km / h, which is good and above values in ideal concretes. This behavior is attributed to the low specific gravity of the glass particles. In order to compare the effect of YFC and GP, the sedimentation flow tests on concrete were investigated experimentally, increasing the amount of GP used and reducing the viscosity of Geopolimerconcrete compared to slag.
