Özet (EN)

In this thesis, self-compacting concrete (SCC) was produced by using recycled concrete aggregate (RCA). In this study, RCAs were used in 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100% by volume instead of limestone based crushed stone aggregate (4-11,2 mm). RCAs are produced from waste concrete specimens in C25 and C30 concrete class. Changes in fresh, physical, mechanical and durability properties of SCC produced by using RCAs were investigated. Cylinder specimens of Ø100x200 mm dimensions and cube specimens of 150x150x150 mm dimensions were produced from SCC series. The specimens were subjected to standard curing in lime saturated water pools with a temperature of 20 ± 2 oC for 28 days. At the end of the curing time slump flow, V-funnel, unit weight, ultrasonic pulse velocity, compressive strength, Schmidt surface hardness, splitting-tensile strength, rapid chloride permeability, electrical resistivity, apparent porosity, water absorption and capillary water absorption tests were performed. As a result, it was seen that RCAs can be used in the SCC production. It is thought that environmental and economic contributions can be provided by using waste concrete as aggregate in SCC production.
