An anormous amount of subtle diabetic patiens are diagnosed during pregnancy with GDM screening. We have found that screening before 14 weeks of pregnancy could detect %69.2 of GDM patients. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that investigate the early GDM screening in the Turkish pregnant population. Further studies are needed to clarify GDM screening at first trimester of pregnancy. Conclusion: Our finding suggests the importance of the screening for GDM in the first trimester.
