Spelling–punctuation mistakes and incoherency made by local (print media) press in Giresun

The objective of this research is to analyze the usage of turkish and to identify the grammar mistakes,spelling and punctuation errors and ambiguity in the local newspapers in Giresun.It has been done with the aim of raising awareness for proper and incomprehensible usage of dialect by pointing to usage of turkish in the local newspapers.This research has been done by examining the local newspapers of central district and the other districts of Giresun.The local newspapers printed in 2015 and 2016 have been examined. Sentences which have deficiency in expression have been determined.The local newspaper which consists of the ambiguous sentences and the date of printing have been shown in paranthesis below the sentences.The ambiguous sentences have been classified properly and regularly.And then they have been jot down on paper.The reasons of mistakes in ambiguous sentences have been stated.The ambigious sentences have been corrected and written in the correct form.The same method has used for spelling and punctuation errors.Spelling and punctuation errors have been classified properly and regularly.And they have been written down.The reasons of mistakes have been stated and written in the correct form.
