Abstract (EN)
Music notation has evolved in line with the needs of the age for centuries. Each new need has helped notation to take its current form, and new solutions have been produced every period according to the needs. Music notation, which was used to remind a known melody in the middle ages, has become a tool for composers to convey all their musical ideas to performers. Especially in the second half of the 20th century and some examples from the 21st century, music notation has reached a level where it can be used as a method for students. Students who can access this information in the notations of modern works cannot find a similar, guiding music writing in the works of the past. The aim of this research is to reveal an example of educational music writing that can be used regardless of the period in which the piece was written. In the research, some prominent symbols that affect technical and musical aspects in guitar music will be examined from the past to the present, and proposals for symbols will be provided in a methodical manner for use in music notation.
