Abstract (EN)
Objective: This retrospective study aimed to explore the role of Glasgow Aneuryum Score (GAS) and Hardman İndex (HI) in predicting outcome after open aneurysm repair.Methods: All 52 patients who underwent open abdominal aneurysm repair in a single center over 8 years were reviewed clinical data were used to classify patients in to the two standart GAS and HI.Results: 28 patients score ? 77 according to GAS and mortality in this group were % 50,8 patients scored between 69 and 77 with mortality % 25, 16 patients scored less than 69 and mortality % 37 12 patients scored ? 3 on the HI with mortality % 83, 9 patiens scored 2 with mortality % 33, 19 patients scored 1 with mortality % 26 and 12 patients scored 0 with mortality % 33.X² test showed extremly significant p value of 0,245 in case of HI and p valve of 0,003 for GAS.Conclusion: Role of the GAS in open aortic aneurysm repair were obviously while role of HI poor predictors of outcome. This situation probably due to small sample size.
