Abstract (EN)

Migration, which has existed in every period human history, has revealed the concept of international migration with the establishment of nation-states and borders. In our era, the continuous increase in the number of immigrants on a global scale and the increasing dominance of local and regional changes brought about by globalization have made the lack of belonging that occurs with continuous and one-way journey of the migrant evident. This thesis reveals a critique of migration within the framework of Deleuze's philosophy and the prominent concepts of him. It has been the priority of this study to open a philosophical and political margin on the relationship between the concepts in Deleuze's philosophy and migration and search for meaning of migration on philosophical-political ground, on the perception of Deleuze's philosophy and the migration subject as the other because of the relationship between representation, identity, belonging, and the differences of that subject. In the thesis, document collection and literature review are followed methodologically; observations and qualified text analyses that include different perspectives and support alternative readings are also included, and facts and concepts are explained by using research techniques, descriptive analysis, and interpretive approaches. Searching for issues with a rhizomatic mindset, as Deleuze applied, also pioneered the development of an interpretative approach in this study. The main purpose of the thesis is; rather than defining the problems faced by the subject of migration, it is to explain the critical and interpretive new evaluations of migration literature with Deleuze's political philosophy from his perspective.
