Impoverishment of women in migration process and traditional transhumance activities: Rize / Pazar example

Today, when the phenomenon of globalization comes to the fore with the communication network, each individual is in a state of physical and thought-based mobility in line with certain tendencies. The phenomenon of migration, which started to be the subject of research in scientific studies at the beginning of the 1800s, was expressed only as a movement of displacement in the early researches, but it appears as a social change movement that affects many societies in many ways in today's studies. Instead of focusing only on the physical displacement, it is aimed to reach the effects of the poverty phenomenon, which is the social problem of the apparent migration movement. The research has been studied with the aim of observing the living spaces of migrant women who are interested in traditional transhumance activities, determining their deprivation in the migration process, reaching their economic poverty and analyzing their socio-cultural status, and revealing what kind of cultural change traditional transhumance activities have undergone from the past to the present. In order to reach the perceptions of deprivation and poverty of migrant women in this process, firstly, the sociodemographic characteristics of immigrant women living in Pazar district of Rize, secondly how they construct the practical practices of women in the migration process, and finally, by reaching the causality behind their poverty, suggestions to overcome this problem and transhumance. sustainability of its activity.
