Abstract (EN)

The migration movement has a multifaceted dimension. Many different migration movements have been defined by the researchers. Migration, which is a movement of displacement, is not instantaneous and represents a process. The concept of social change, on the other hand, refers to the great changes in the social structure and a change that occurs in the cultural structures of societies. There is a relationship between social or cultural changes and migration movement. This relationship has taken its place in the Turkish novel. The causes of migration, urbanization processes of migrants and social / cultural changes they experience are the subject of the novels. The social/cultural changes experienced in novels about internal migration and novels about external migration differ from each other.
