Abstract (EN)
The research was conducted to determine the effect of feeds containing 15% and 20% extruded common bean meal (common bean I and common bean II groups) on growth, feed conversion and body composition in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum, 1792).Average initial weights of fish were 99.04 ± 0.88 g in control group, 99.53 ± 1.12 g in common bean I group and 99.91 ± 0.93 g in common bean II group. During the experiment, control, common bean I and common bean II groups were fed containing % 45.31 crude protein, % 18.67 crude fat; % 45.33 crude protein, % 17.91 crude fat; and % 45.37 crude protein, % 20.7 crude fat, respectively. At the end of the experiment, average final weights of control, common bean I and common bean II groups were 186.54 ± 13.37g, 175.51 ± 3.44 g and 164.81 ± 8.81 g, respectively (P>0.05). Feed conversion ratios of control, common bean I and common bean II groups were 1.3, 1.5 and 1.4, respectively (P>0.05).In this study we determined that the different inclusion levels (15% and 20%) of extruded common bean meal in feeds did not effect growth, feed conversion and body composition in rainbow trout.
