The role of voluntary organizations in preschool social entrepreneurship education

In today's societies, where social problems are increasing, in order to provide social welfare and find solutions for recent problems, innovator activities are needed. In order to meet this need, to solve social problems with creative solutions, and to provide social benefit; social entrepreneurship concept has arisen. By raising new generation with social entrepreneurship vision, it is possible to sustain social benefits and solutions, which are created by social entrepreneurship. In this context, through giving social entrepreneurship education in preschool institutions, it is possible to raise a new generation who is creative, skillful, active, innovator, sensitive to environment and have entrepreneurship skills. For giving social entrepreneurship education effectively, preschool institutions need to collaborate with voluntary organizations. If voluntary organizations, which are working with the aim of creating social benefit and social progress, collaborate with preschool institutions in an attempt to provide social entrepreneurship education, they will give children a chance to create awareness and involve in meaningful social environments in terms of social services, education, environment, health, culture, art, and sports. Because of this reason, the role of voluntary organization in preschool social entrepreneurship education is so important and it supports social entrepreneurship education. In this context, on the purpose of determining how social entrepreneurship is given in preschool institutions and what is the role of voluntary organizations in terms of giving social entrepreneurship education, survey was conducted with 111 preschool institutions' founder, director and education coordinator. Findings of the survey are included in results part.
