The effect of the visual education material infographics on academic success in science teaching

The aim of this research is to examine the past academic success of the courses that are taught with infographics in the "Electrical Circuits" unit of the 7th grade Science lesson in secondary school. In the study, the sample of semi-experimental pattern system research with pre-test-post-test control group, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was ranked 2nd in the 2018-2019 education-teaching rooms. The number of students in two different 7th grade students of Demirözü İmam Hatip Secondary School, which is located in Demirözü district of Bayburt province It opens. One of the classes was randomly selected as the experimental group (n = 27) and the other as the control group (n = 27). In the research, the experimental group learns about the development, while the learning process continues, the control system courses, Science course curriculum, prefers to arrange according to the methods and techniques appropriate to the future gains. Application development and planning, Electrical Circuits Achievement Test (EDBT) was applied to experimental and control group planning as data collection tool. Data were evaluated by SPSS 21. Independent classes in testing the hypotheses of the research. The results obtained from the preliminary tests were evaluated and the groups were found to be equivalent. Structured statistics generation plan; From the EDBT posttest data based on experimental and control group planning, it was concluded that the use of infographics which are visual planning material in the lessons due to a method of difference planning process based on the methods found in science curriculum of infographics and science course processing.
