This study was arranged to identify the physical activity types in childhood and puberty periods and physical activity habits of the students in Gülhane Military Medical Faculty (GMMF) and Nursing School (NS). The study participants were composed of male and female students in GMMF and NS. In this study, a questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The data was obtained by means of the questionnaire intended for GMMF and NS students. In terms of the data analysis, the SPSS package program was used to process the data collected from GMMF and NS students at the outset. For the descriptive statistical analyses, according to group variations Mann Whitney U and Kruskall Wallis H tests were preferred. From the findings of the study, it seemed that sex, age, body-mass index, department, branch, and smoking habit were significant factors on metabolic equivalent points.
