Abstract (EN)

In this study, a novel AgNPs/POM/rGO nanocomposite was developed for use as an anode material in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The nanocomposite was synthesized by incorporating silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) into a POM/rGO matrix using UV irradiation to reduce Ag⁺ to AgNPs. The resulting nanocomposite was characterized using various techniques, including TEM, EDX, XPS, and XRD, confirming the successful integration of the components and the formation of a well-dispersed, homogenous structure. The electrochemical performance of the AgNPs/POM/rGO anode was evaluated, showing excellent initial capacity (up to 1500 mAh·g⁻¹) and high cyclic stability, retaining approximately 70-80% of its initial capacity after 40 cycles. The performance of AgNPs/POM/rGO was superior to that of other anode materials, including POM/GO and pure POM, highlighting the positive effect of silver nanoparticles and graphene oxide on electrochemical performance. The synergistic effect of AgNPs, POM, and rGO in improving electrical conductivity, redox activity, and structural integrity was key to the high cycle stability and capacity retention of the nanocomposite. These results suggest that AgNPs/POM/rGO nanocomposite is a promising anode material for next-generation lithium-ion batteries with high capacity and long cycling life.
