In this context, a data collection from consisting of five parts was organized. The data collection from occurs from socio-demographic characteristics, working environment features, occupational health and safety, burnout and job satisfaction scales. The survey was applied to 162 staff working in underground mining, 95% confidence level and 50% response distribution were taken into consideration. The data collected from the sample group were analyzed in SPSS package program. As a result of the research, general burnout level of the normality assumption of the measurement tools is normally distributed (p=200; p>0.05), the general job satisfaction level of the group did not show normal distribution (p=0.48; p<0.05). In our study, there was a negative correlation between the total score of Maslach Burnout Scale and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale (correlation coefficient r=,353). The question of "What do you think about what mostly causes the work accident?" was answered as "non-safety working environment" (24.8%). On the other hand in our study, the question of "What do you do with your family on a regular basis?" was answered "we cannot get together regularly due to the intensity of work" (45.5%). It was observed that working in more shift jobs experienced more desensitization and burnout than working in single shift jobs. Besides, it is determined that the employees who have less experience have more desensitization than the employees who have more experience. As a result of this situation, it was determined that those who do their job willingly experience less emotional burnout and depersonalization than those who do not. At the end of the study, the job satisfaction of employees should be increased in order to reduce burnout. In particular, it is necessary to investigate the psychological risk factors and job saticfaction and burnout triggering them, between the underground mine workers.
