Abstract (EN)
Our country, whose industry is developing day by day, whose population is increasing and energy consumption is accelerating, has started to produce energy from different sources in order to meet its energy needs. The use of renewable energy becomes more important as the energy produced from fossil sources will increase with external dependence. Solar energy is from renewable energy sources solar energy potential of Turkey has become an important energy source used to produce Considering the efficiency and today is used quite widely in terms of solar energy as a renewable energy source. Site selection is very important in the installation of renewable energy systems. It is also an important issue in deciding the method to be used in site selection. The aim of this study is to analyze the areas suitable for solar power plant in Eskişehir by using GIS Analytical Hierarchy Process which is one of the Multi Criteria Decision Making methods and to determine the accuracy of the location choices of the existing power plants.
