Abstract (EN)

New alternatives and solutions are needed to meet the energy needs in almost every area of today's life. One of these solutions is to use alternative energy sources widely and efficiently in energy production. In today's conditions, investments on alternative energy sources have become mandatory for many reasons. Investments in renewable energy sources, which are becoming more and more important in our country, are increasing day by day. Investments in energy policies have been prioritized by both public and legal entities with the incentives put forward by the government in the orientation of investors towards these energy resources. Thanks to these incentives provided by the public, the solar power generation project, which was established near the village of Doyran in Adıyaman, within the body of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİGM), was put into operation. With this project, it is aimed to irrigate 27 thousand m2 of land in the Samsat Plain in Adıyaman district, to reduce irrigation costs, to provide financial support to the farmers by the state, to meet the energy used in the irrigation areas With this power plant, which is one of the most important projects in our country, it is aimed to reduce the effects of greenhouse gases along with toxic gases emitted to the atmosphere by contributing to the economy of the province by minimizing the amount of energy consumed and reducing fossil fuels (coal, petroleum etc.). The solar power plant examined within the scope of this study; Agricultural irrigation costs have important contributions in terms of reducing the current account deficit of our country, energy dependency and carbon emissions caused by fossil fuels (preventing CO2 emission from 1kW / h energy production). With the current study, the economic and social effects of the Photovoltaik (PV) Solar Power Plant (GES) project, which was established in Adıyaman province, were examined and positive and negative aspects were tried to be revealed. In addition, the rate of achieving medium term targets will be evaluated at the end of the investment of the current project. Thus, while preparing a road map for the GES projects to be planned and invested from now on, the contribution of this project to the investor, society, environment, country economy and the world has been evaluated.
