Abstract (EN)

The Sun is a large celestial body that gives heat and light to the planets and the universe. It has a very important impact on human life. Because the energy emitted from the sun contributes greatly to the existence of almost all life on Earth. This energy coming from the sun, that is, solar energy, directly affects similar factors in human life, such as climate and weather, and undoubtedly, these factors are also reflected in human life. Solar energy is one of the natural and environmentally friendly resources among the existing energies. For this reason, it is one of the most preferred sources among renewable energy sources, as it is an unlimited and inexhaustible resource and is clean, safe and reduces dependence on other resources. With the increase in the number of population in the world, people have gradually turned to unlimited renewable energy sources such as solar energy, with the idea that the continuity of existing non-renewable energy resources, such as oil, natural gas and nuclear, cannot be ensured. The use of solar energy system, which is one of the renewable energy sources, is also made with solar power plants in the modern period. In this study, we compared the real data and simulation data of the solar power plants established in Çevrimova Village of the central district of Batman province, and by including the temperature values of Batman province and global solar radiation values into the study, the existing solar power plants were compared with the said data. It is aimed to reveal the relationship. For this purpose, the method underlying this study is to determine the suitability of the data obtained with the effect of the PVsyst 7.4 simulation program, which is generally used in factors such as energy analysis of solar power plant investments, to the real analysis data by including the time periods between 2018 and 2023 of the project we are considering. In addition, another factor in choosing Batman province is that the climate of the region has a continental climate and the suitability of the solar power plant system for Batman province is wanted to be determined, since the summer months are hot and dry and the winter months are cold and rainy.
