Abstract (EN)
The color concept that affects human life at a great measure, influences the social life of people by coming together with the power of visual impact. Colors that a tool of internal or non-verbal communication, carry different meanings according to cultures, and even it take over an important role like gaining identity of a nation. So that all nations describe story of flag what they have raised. Thus, colors are a value that can express feeling and thoughts of peoples. In this study, the place and importance in our daily life of color concept was wanted to explain, and by referring to cultural indicators, informations that wanted to be transmitted have been dealt. In this research that have been based to qualitative data and have been done by using literature scan; country flags, traditional costumes of countries, and their architectural constructions have been examined by considering color concept. As a result of the thesis, the colors that have different meanings in every culture; culture, religion and mysticism, and even in all civilizations, in short, in the history of mankind, always has been observed to have been obtained a important position.
