Abstract (EN)
After World War II, the Federal State of Germany, which is trying to wipe out the traces of war, needs the workforce of other countries. For this reason, the Federal State of Germany signed the Ankara Agreement with Turkey in 1961. Worker migration to Germany becomes hope for people who leave their country for different reasons. The migrant workers who are away from their own lifestyle, tradition, customs, habits and who are in touch with other different cultures become to be named as "other" in the society. Therefor Germany has been the center of multiculturalism, which has received guest workers from many countries, especially from Turkey. Under the name of multiculturalism, unbreakable images and stereotyped are created in the human mind. People who migrate because of different reasons bring up against racial prejudice. Due to migrant labor, there was a lot of unemployment among the native people. But the migrant labors have to accept all offers. While guest workers agree to working in the hard conditions for a low wage, they can stand up for their's rights because of that the local people think their rights are defeated. By virtue of this misunderstanding, the racist abuse increase in the society. This formation progress of differences in the society, the formation of the "other" was seen against to "us".The reflections of the labor workers in the 60s issues such as labor problems, alienation, and identity problems were seen. In this context, we have worked on Günter Wallraff's Novel "Ganz Unten" and the " Other" image. In this study, the "other" image that I have chosen as the subject of research shows not only a cultural exclusion, but also different views of otherization through the commodification of the individual. The problems of migrant workers, migration to Germany are explained in regard to various philosophical foundations and the "other" image is exemplified by text-oriented method that is used on Wallraff's Novel "Ganz Unten".
