Abstract (EN)
This study aims to find out and examine the archaic elements found in the Divan of Eşrefoğlu Rumi from today's perspective. It was observed that the archaic elements found in the Divan of Eşrefoğlu Rumi were freguently used in both spoken and written language in that period when compared to modern Turkish. The Divan of Eşrefoğlu Rumi has an important place in the XV century oeuvres. In addition to the fact that the Divan holds the characteristics of Old Anatolian Turkish, it is remarkable among the works of the period in terms of the features of its dialect, archaic affixes and the abundance of the words. In this study, the archaic affixes and vocabulary in the Divan of Eşrefoğlu Rumi, which is of great importance in Turkish Literature regarding the its linguistic features and literature, were investigated. The explanations of these archaic affixes and vocabulary elements in Tarama Sözlüğü were presented. Their usage in Old Turkish dialects and the dialects in use today were also provided. It was revealed that the archaic elements which were generally used in historic periods are not used today. However, some of the archaic elements identified in the Divan were found out to be still utilized in dialects according to Derleme Sözlüğü and the areas of utilization of these elements were shown.
