Risk and threat analysis and crisis management strategies in the context of security

One of the issues that has great importance within the international relations doctrine and has been intensively studied is the issue of "security". The term security has generally been used to mean the same thing as national security and has become an element of great importance for the continuity of political power. The main issue being focused on in this direction was found to be military security. In the process, especially as the world evolved into a global form, the scope of the term security has also expanded. In addition to the state-centered security situation, social and personal security has also come to the fore in this process and its scope has expanded. The importance of the term security has increased in this period and the scope of the term security has also expanded in this direction. In the study, expressions such as the definition of the concept of security, its history, scope, security approaches, and the relationship between the concept of risk, the concept of threat and its management, crisis and security were examined theoretically. The security situation is a situation that begins with the perception of a threat, and during the period when the Cold War ended, these perceptions changed and gave way to the emergence of new types of threats.
