Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this quantitative research is to determine the factors that affect the job satisfaction of X and Y generations working at military units in Hatay. To reveal the impact of the job on the military personnel is also under the scope of this research. The sample of the research consists of 308 military personnel who are at service in Hatay. This is the first research to analyze the job satisfaction of military personnel in different age brackets of X generation (1965-1979) and Y generation (1980-1999). Personal, organizational, and demographic factors affecting the job satisfaction of Turkish Armed Forces personnel, who are at service in Hatay, were studied in this research. In this context, participant military personnel have been asked to complete the "Personal Information Form" and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale". By using the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, internal, external, and general satisfaction levels of personnel have been determined. "SPSS 22" package software was used for the statistical analysis of research data. Multivariate methods such as MANOVA and two-way ANOVA, were used for the analysis of data.
