Investigation of the effect of the athlete application on some parameters of athletes

Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has been an example to humanity at every moment of his life and has given them advice. Many of the things that Our Holy Prophet (pbuh) recommended to us are better understood today and also acquire scientifically provable qualities. If we give an example of this situation, it has also been scientifically proven today that He (pbuh) gave a lot of advice for the practice of hacamat (cupping therapy) and said that this practice was a useful healing method even under the conditions of that time. Today, when the side effects and harms of treatments applied together with medical drugs are considered, the importance of hacamat (cupping theraphy) is better understood. In this context, the aim of the thesis study is to examine the effect of hacamat (cupping theraphy) application on some parameters of athletes. The participant group of the study consists of 12 athletes playing in the Rugby National Team. In order to collect data, back leg dynamometer, hand dynamometer, jump test, reach & reach test, 30m Speed Test and Richards Campbell sleep scale have been used. In the analysis of the data, percentage and frequency distributions, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Friedman Test have been applied. According to the results of the study, there has been a significant difference in the variables of back strength, leg strength, right hand grip strengt, left hand grip strengt, flexibility and sleep scores (p<0,05), it has been determined that there has been no significant difference regarding the jump and 30m speed variables (p>0,05).
