Blessing prayers in the hadiths

The concept of abundance, which is prominent in many cultures and civilizations, is a fundamental concept that has an important place in both human and divine religions. When the phenomenon of abundance is examined in the context of the Qur'an and Sunnah, the main sources of Islam, it is seen that this concept has a wide and rich range of meanings that cannot be explained only by mathematical data. In this context, the Prophet (PBUH), who adopted a prayer-centered life in his personal and social relations, did not neglect to build his prayers on the concept of "blessing". He occasionally greeted certain people, events, places and periods of time with the concept of blessing, and did not spare his prayers for blessings, which contain many material and spiritual blessings, from his companions. The Companions, who saw the reflections of prosperity in both the person and prayers of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and adopted his advice and practices as a guide for themselves, paid attention to using prayers and phrases containing prosperity in both their personal and social relations, and thus tried to establish a life centered on prosperity. In this thesis, some of the Companions for whom the Prophet (PBUH) prayed for blessings were examined in the context of these prayers, and the Prophet's charity-oriented approach in his prayers was tried to be revealed. In addition, it is also seen that he characterized some places and periods of time, food and drink with blessings and prayed for them with blessings. In this context, this thesis aims to identify and evaluate the Prophet's prayers for blessings. In this context, in this study, these narrations, which are the subject of the Prophet's blessing prayer, were identified within the framework of the Kitub al-'tis‛a and by taking into account the main words related to blessing, and after classifying the hadiths in various aspects, the health aspects of the narrators were examined by making use of rijāl and tabaqat sources. In addition, the narrations were evaluated by utilizing classical hadith sources, especially hadith commentaries, and modern sources.
