Hikmet concept in hadith and sunnah-wisdom relationship

In this study, it has been tried to be explained the framework concept of wisdom in hadiths and the relationship between the hadiths and the wisdom. Our study consists of an introduction and two parts. In the first part of our study, introduction, the subject, aim and method of the study have been emphasized; the lexical and terminological meaning of wisdom concept has been given and in which meaning the concept is used in both Quran and Hadith has been revealed. The examination of hadiths has been made in the context of Kutub-i tis. It has also been stated in what sense this concept is used in both Islamic Sciences and Philosophy. In the second part, it has been tried to be put forward the relationship of wisdom concept with the Sunnah. In this context, the lexical and terminological meaning of the concept of Sunnah has been explained so as to make it clear the relationship between Sunnah and Wisdom better, and the framework of Sunnah concept in Quran and Hadith has been revealed. In the context of relationship between Sunnah and wisdom the phenomenon of prophethood and revelation has been discussed, and different opinions of scholars have been given on this issue. Thus, by considering the verses and hadiths and the uses of these concepts, the relationship between Sunnah and wisdom has been tried to be established, and it has been concluded that Sunnah is wisdom. However, by looking at the Sunnah from a holistic point of view, circumcision has been understood in this context.
