The trait of îsâr in hadith

The Prophet Muhammad practiced the îsâr (altruism) in his life and revealedseveral examples and applications of this. He distributed essential goods needed asmuch as the gifts given to him to people in need. This attribute of him embraced notonly those in need but also those who had requested him.As fulfilling the needs of people, The Prophet Muhammad did not used merelythe existing conveniences but pushed the limits, responded to the demands and needsthrough borrowing and promising. His attribute also includes the speciality ofkindness and grace in human relations such as honoring and benevolence upon guests.The Prophet, did not implement the îsâr only on his own personality; he preferredothers to his close ones when the needs of individuals and groups close to himcoincided with the needs of others. In the case of a need or interest, he preferred hiscompanions to his family, guidance seekers to his companions.The îsâr of The Prophet Muhammad also contained emotional and legal issuessuch as the preference of hardship in the way of Allah to comfort, poverty to wealth,forgiving to revenge. The Prophet applied of îsâr to his life at the cost of living inpoverty and need, did not make concession for this.
