Abstract (EN)
Salute is one of the most important signs of İslâm. It has a special importance among the behavior(sunnah) of the Prophet Muhammad. It was recommended to spread to the Medina among the believers in the early days of emigration. Emigration; as is known, religion has been made to live better and is connected with revelation. Salution, when the Prophet Muhammad started to establish an İslâmic society in Madinah, it was a behavior that revealed the difference between non-Muslims. In this thesis, it was investigated how the Prophet spread the greetings among the believers and how this behavior is desired from those who prefer İslâm. The hadiths were examined by drawing attention to the importance of greeting in the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. The place of salution in religion and tradition, forms of salution was investigated. Not only the meaning of the word salute, but also the content of the word salute are examined and Prophet 's sunnah, reliable hadith sources derived from the hadiths are examined.
