Abstract (EN)
Muhammad b. Abdulhadî al-Sındî, who wrote footnotes for many classical hadith works such as Kutubu Sıtte and Ahmed b. Hanbel's al-Musnad, is among the important names of the hadıth footnote tradition. It is important to know Sindî's life, his place in hadith science and his works. For this purpose, the first part of the study, which consists of an introduction and four parts, focuses on the terms related to footnotes and footnotes. The second part is about the hadith footnote tradition, and the third part is about the period in which Sindî lived, his political, social, religious, scientific situation and his works. The fourth part is about Sindî's footnote method.
