Examination of surah Hakka in terms of Arabic languageand rhetoric

The philological studies of the suras in the Qur'an date back to the first periods. Interpretation studies reveal the meaning in words and sentences while in relation tol inguistics. As Imam Maturidi said "Interpretation states exactly what is meant by theQur'an." On the other hand, the science of rhetoric has played a major role in the compilation of the literary products of Arabic and thef ormation of arts of these products. In this study, a philological research was made about Hakka Surah in the 29th part of the Qur'an. The verses were first examined in glossary, the original meaning of the words were commented on and various meanings were provided. In grammar and rhetoric studies, attention was drawn to the grammatical features and literary arts of the words. Keywords: Hakka, Surah, Philology
