Abstract (EN)

This study investigated some water quality parameters and zooplankton fauna monthly for 12 months from June 2022 to May 2023 at two stations in Halbori Siprings. The highest water temperature was recorded in August at station 2, reaching 15,4°C, while the lowest water temperature was recorded in January at station 2, reaching 5,0°C. The pH value of Halbori Springs was recorded between 6.4 and 8.5. Dissolved oxygen varied between 8.1 and 11,9 mg/L during the study period. In the Halbori Springs, a total of 26 zooplankton species were identified. Out of these, 19 species belong to Rotifera, 5 species to Cladocera and 2 species to Copepoda. At the first station, the zooplankton of Halbori Gözeleri includes Rotifera such as Ascomorpha saltans, Brachionus angularis and Keratella quadrata, which are present for most months of the year, but Cephalodella catellina, Cephalodella forficula, Gastropus stylifer, Keratella tecta, Notommata glyphura and Synchaeta oblonga, which are present for only one month of the year. Bosmina longirostris and Chydorus sphaericus are the most common species of Cladocera. Cyclops vicinus is the most frequently observed species of copepod throughout the year. At Station 2, Brachionus angularis, Keratella quadrata and Polyarthra dolichoptera are observed in most months. Gastropus stylifer, Lecane nana, Keratella tecta and Synchaeta oblonga are only observed for one month per year. Alona guttata and Daphnia cucullata are the most common species found in Cladocera. Cyclops vicinus, a species of copepod, is the most frequently observed species during the year. . According to the Shannon Wiener H' species richness index, the highest value was recorded in October with 1.97, while the lowest value of 0.45 was observed in January. No changes in content were made. Similarly, the Margalef species diversity index showed the highest value of 0.78 in October and the lowest value of 0.12 in January. The given text is grammatically correct and free from spelling and punctuation errors. According to the index analysis results of the station, it was determined that the month with the highest richness index of Shannon Wiener H' species diversity index was September with 1.68, and the lowest value was January with 0.67. As for the Margalef species diversity D index, the highest value was in September with 0.64 and the lowest value was in January with 0.12.
