A study of Halil Kocagöz's life, art, and poetry

This thesis provides a comprehensive study of the life, art, and poetry of Halil Kocagöz, a significant figure in Turkish literature. Kocagöz is renowned for his unique poetic perspective and his substantial contributions to Turkish poetry. The first part of the study explores his biography, focusing on his early life, education, and entry into the literary world. The second part critically examines his poetry collections, including "Bulutlar", "Adamlar", "Yaşamak Türküsü", "Yitik Duman", "Geyik Düşmesi", "Atatürk'ün Işığı", "Uzay Duvarları", and "Çiçekle Tüfek", within their literary and social contexts. This thesis aims to highlight Kocagöz's literary identity and the thematic and structural features of his poetry, ultimately emphasizing his significance and the value of his works in Turkish literature.
