Abstract (EN)

Rapid developments in technology and science have brought about change and transformation in various fields. Therefore, media industries such as radio, television, cinema and the internet have taken over the transmission of culture. Consequently, this process has combining traditional and modern products inevitable. Folk tales performed in the traditional cultural environment are also affected by this situation and try to continue their existence in new cultural environments. In this research, which traces the adventure of folk tales in the electronic culture environment, five stories with high recognition, have taken place in the minds of the public the dominant motifs, have been selected. First, the positions of these stories in the oral tradition were mentioned, and then their concrete existence in cinema, radio, television and the internet was revealed through classification studies. In the classification above studies, the classification practices put forward by various researchers and institutions were taken into consideration and evaluated by acting with the awareness that the dynamic structure of each media element is different. In the last section, selected examples from the identified materials are analyzed in the context of intertextuality theory and the changes and transformations between the story (subtext) in the tradition and the story (main text) in the electronic culture environment are explained in detail. Since the middle of the twentieth century, when the tendency to use traditional data increased even more, folk tales have taken place in new forms in media-centred content, albeit with various changes and transformations. It is also possible to interpret this action, which takes place in today's world where data can be easily accessed without time and space limitations, as an attempt to exist in new living spaces of the folkloric product. This issue is very important in the transmission of culture to generations.
