Abstract (EN)

Electron microscopes are widely used at microbiological field and they are type of improved microscope. It is possible to examine all kinds of microorganisms and cells and learn about the fine structure of them. With the high resolution views, electron microscope allows to achieve very fine detail than light microscope. Extremophilic microorganisms members who live in high salt concentrations are called halophilic microorganisms. In another definition, these microorganisms live near the saturation point of sodium chloride or in saturation of sodium chloride. Halophilic microorganisms live at hypersaline environments. In this study, isolated halophilic microorganisms and samples from hypersaline environments have been analyzed by electron microscopy.
