Abstract (EN)
With the development of technology day by day, traditional media understanding is updated. The graphic design process entered a different period first with the invention of photography (1800s) and then the emergence of video art (1960s) and contributed to the development of motion picture design. The creation of simple motion pictures for the first time in 1987 shed light on the future of cinemagraph. The concept of cinemagraph emerged in 2011 and gave graphic design a new expression language suitable for the needs of the digital age. Cinemagraph, which is a popular and exciting new visual media type between cinema-video and photography technique, presents both a still image and a moving image in a single image at the same time. In this way, it is seen as a new form of hyperreal image. Cinemagraph applications are in endless motion with a cyclical approach, and the sense of rhythm of the moving region can create the movement in the mind of the viewer by getting ahead of the motionless region. In this way, he is able to communicate more with the audience by constantly attracting the attention of the audience. Since only the focused part is highlighted in cinemagraph applications, it can also be used in advertising works of any product. Global brands, believing that cinemagraph applications are an ideal tool for brand storytelling, prefer this design language in their digital campaigns. The general aim of the study; The aim of this study is to examine the cinemagraph technique, which is a popular and new type of visual media that emerges at the intersection of photography and video art forms, within the scope of motion visual communication design application and to prepare a project proposal for the use of this technique in e-journal applications. In this context, researches were carried out on the use of cinemagraph in e-journal as an application method of motion visual communication design, cinemagraph, e-publishing and motion visual communication design during the study process, and a project proposal was presented with the prediction that a new usage area for cinemagraphs could be created with the digitalization of magazines. As a result of the research, it has been seen that the cinemagraph technique, which is considered as a popular and new visual media type, is not widely used in the field of motion visual communication design as a new language of expression, especially in e-magazine applications, and with the study prepared as a suggestion, cinemagraph has different designs in accordance with the requirements of the digital age. It is aimed to be used in the media.
