Abstract (EN)

Hasan Ali Toptaş is one of the leading writers of our age. The fact that there is no work covering all the novels of Hasan Ali Toptaş in the literary genre is the first factor on the emergence of this work. The second factor is that in the novels of Hasan Ali Toptaş, the concepts of truth and reality are the focal points of many matters, and these concepts allow the novels to be handled as a whole. In this work titled "Perception of Reality in Hasan Ali Toptaş's Novels" is aimed to interpret the realities in Hasan Ali Toptaş's seven published novels. Since the concepts of truth and reality, like all concepts, have changed throughout the history of thought, the introduction of this work handles the definition of these concepts. The first chapter of the study was designed to explain how the concepts of reality and truth are interpreted in literature and especially in the novel, during classical, modern and postmodern periods. In the second chapter, information about the elements in the background of the author's novels is given in the light of Hasan Ali Toptaş's views on literary reality. The third chapter of this study is devoted to the works of the author's novels on the basis of reality. In this section, the author's published novels are examined in a comparative way, by taking the author-text-reader relationship into account. The realities of each novel are discussed under separate titles.
