This research was carried out with the aim that hospital information system used in Akdeniz University Hospital would be analysed by means of SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory). The method and the hospital information system was studied in five categories as productivity, impact, assistantship (yardımcılık), controllability and learnability. A questionnaire prepared in this regard was administered to 100 employees at Akdeniz University Hospital. The data obtained from the scales were computerized and analysed through SPSS 21.0. In the evaluation of data, descriptive statistical methods (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) were used. Independent sample t test was used for the comparison of the inter group parameters that followed normal distribution in the quantitative data comparison. If there were more than 2 groups in the comparison of the quantitative data, one way AnovaA test was used for the inter group parameters that followed a normal distribution and Scheffe test was used to detect the group that demonstrated the difference. In the light of the research, it was found out that employees' usability of hospital information system was in medium level in all dimensions. It was suggested that attemps need to be made for the development of the program as the hospital information system did not meet the expectations of employees.
