Abstract (EN)

Organizational commitment takes place not only when employees feel commitment to their organizations, but also to make efforts for the continuity of their organizations. We see that the personel turnover rate of organization with high organizational commitment has decreased and employee satisfaction has increased. Of course, as a result, we can say that the quality of goods and services has also increased. An employee with a high organizational commitment will look for ways to bring more benefits to his/her organization, in addition to fulfilling his duties. This will create a synergy effect throughout the institution. It is also worth researching if such an important topic is affected by demographic features, and to what extent it is affected, if not, what features are not affected. In the first part of this study, while the concept of organization and organizational culture is examined, in the second part, the organizational commitment process is examined. In the third part, the relationship between the demographic characteristics of the staff working in hospitals and organizational commitment was examined with the surveys conducted with the health sector employees.
