Abstract (EN)

In the current health sector, new treatment and care services are beingestablished everyday in hospitals due to the continuous progress of technology. With developing technology, health institutions and organizations re-evaluate new management processes and policies in order to meet the demands of patients. It implements improvement policies in order to increase the sustainability of health institutions which arein the process of improvement and to benefit from the competition. To provide full-time opportunities to patients by using improved health services with low cost practices, constitutes the basis of competition in health institutions and hospitals. Therefore, health institutions and hospitals should use "BARE" health services, which have been developed in the USE in 2000s by developing technology and now they are used by developed and developing countries. Bare manufacturing techniques aim to save hospital processes from wastage and inefficiency, increase product and service quality and minimize costs. The main purpose of these techniques is; to eliminate the wastes created by hospitals and services. It is important to minimize the wastage of medical and treatment service costs in hospitals, or to rehabilitate them by eliminating them. The aim of this study is to examine how medical and patient treatment processes are improved by bare techniques in order to increase the quality and efficiency of the services provided in health institutions and organizations. In this context, this study was performed in a operating room of a private hospital in Adana province. As a result, the most effective way to reduce hospital unit costs was to increase the number of surgeries performed. If the number of operations can not be increased, it has been shown that the operating room capacity from three to two and the number of employees from nine to seven should be reduced. On the other hand, wasted material has not been found as a result of the studies.
